What we believe

About the Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Inspired in the sense that God literally touched the minds of the writers. God's Word is the ultimate authority ,and is our guide to a spiritually sound life and life in heaven. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

About Salvation

We believe that salvation is for anyone. No matter your background, ethnicity, or past mistakes, their is a place for you in God's kingdom. We believe that the plan of salvation was laid out plainly in the Bible for us all, exampled by Jesus ,and preached by the disciples.
We believe the salvation experience begins at the New Birth mentioned in John 3:5. This New Birth consists of Repentance, Baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit by evidence of
speaking in tounges.

About Baptism

We believe Baptism is a necessity to salvation as stated in (Mark 16:16; John 3:5;
Acts 2:38) and many other places in the Bible. We believe Baptism should be done by immersion and in the name of
Jesus (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; Acts 4:12).

About the Holy Ghost

We believe the Holy Ghost is the manifestation of God's Spirit amongst people today. (2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe God's Spirit dwelling on the inside of us is a necessity to salvation. (Romans 8:9)

The process in which we receive the Holy Spirit is laid in scripture as first believing (Faith), Repentance, and then we can receive the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38, Acts 10: 44-48,)

About Christian Living

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)
